The expanding of this project to Europe allows everyone in European cities with populations of 100,000 or more people to apply before the deadline of the 11th day of July in 2022. This expansion builds upon the two grant rounds that were held in America and Europe that were announced between 2020 and. In the United States saw 45 asphalt projects in 41 cities. In Europe three cities were included in the asphalt trial projects: Amsterdam (Netherlands), Glasgow, Scotland, and London (England).
